Tamanu oil for animals ? One of my friends dog had a itchy ear. I told her it could be an allergy and gave her a little bit Tamanu oil. After 2 days the damaged skin was healed. it shouldn’t come as any surprise that Tamanu Oil’s amazing cicatrising power works on animals such as dogs, cats and horses. Humans and animals are not all that different. However, dogs and horses DO tend to be somewhat more prone to injury! Dogs get into scrapes with other dogs.
